I saw a Life Savers commercial last night and the jingle was sung by none other than Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Notice I said jingle and not song. It wouldn’t be quite as bad if the Life Savers people just licensed one of their songs to use in the commercial, but they actually commisioned LBM to write the jingle (or at least sing it). Does that make you as sad as it makes me?
