Time to revisit Dylan and TV one more time. Here’s an analysis of Dylan’s acceptance speech from the Grammy’s in 1991. As the title says, Dylan on TV (bad fit). Although, fascinating, surely.

Here’s two really good, artsy ideas from an Oakland, CA gallery.

Oh yeah, this is fairly odd. I sure hope a four year old doesn’t take over America soon. I don’t think W would be able to handle that. What with his manhood problem and all.

This was actually at the bottom of some spam I received today:
“Further transmissions to you by the sender of this e-mail may be stopped at no cost to you by sending a reply to rib92@geek.com with the word “NO MORE” in the subject line.”
Wow, that’s great! It doesn’t cost me a penny to unsubscribe from this list! I’ve never felt so loved!
Please spam the hell out of rib92@geek.com.

Is there any better way to spend a Sunday than drinking and gambling? I don’t think so.

Getting ready to head to the beach. Sun, sand, all-night poker. Can’t wait.

Do you consider yourself a person who has a wide taste in music? I try to listen to anything except for teen pop with an open mind.
So, it was weird to me when I popped in a Steve Earl CD (title: The Mountain, file under: Bluegrass) the other night at a poker game I was attending and saw my friends react with disgust and nervous laughter to my musical choice. My friend, Ian McFarlane, thought I had gone completely insane. I had to try to convince him that, yes, I do enjoy this music. It is intricate, has loads of history associated with it, and, as a matter of fact, represents my father’s roots in the backwoods of Kentucky.
So, keep listening, Ian. I might surprise you again when I pop in that Bulgarian Chant CD I’ve had my eye on recently. Please don’t laugh, I can’t hear the music.

Happy July 4th, um, you.

This is pretty damn funny.
