Slanted reissue is “okay.” If you were a ‘head back in the day, you already have all this, and the liner notes aren’t worth purchasing the set for. Therefore, anything you haven’t heard is likely to be one song or so, so buy it on iTunes.
The Crooked Rain is another issue. Think “lost album.” This is epic. I ordered mine off of eBay a few days back.

Double Nickels on the Dime — One of the top ten best albums of my life. Of course, a lot of that may have to do with the time, place and youth of my listening position. Also, I haven’t heard the whole album in over eight years. I need to get a copy.
